Does anyone have any more recent info on using Counter Service Credits. Is it still possible to use them as adult credits and not child credits?

I personally dont know %100 all I know is last time I was in WDW the CM at the register told me they have no idea on how many CS there are for adults and kids.. They said that they are all pooled

Same here, not 100% sure... but I heard they were still pooled. TS, are split up.

They are all split now. That's the big issue with the child's choices for counter service places...they can't get adult selections etc. You have to order a child's meal and use a child's credit. That the last Iheard anyway.

They are designated child credit and adult credits on the dining plan package. They can see what you have left when they scan you card I suppose. That has been "fixed" for awhile now. If you are paying for children's meals, then you should only be able to get children's meal in my opinion....not fair to get adults sit-down and counters for only $12.

I really thought that was just for the TS meals and not CS. Can someone confirm?? (not that it matters much to me, but it may to some...)

I think you are right on that. I honestly like to order from the kids menu myself. I hate to get a big meal in the hot sicky days of summer when we usually go. I wonder if we can do that. Order from the kids menu if we pd for adult. I dont know if that would work. Ill give my adult to my nephew and take his child credit.

You can definately take your DN's child credit and he use your adult. You jut have to order the right amount of child/adult meals...no rule on who eats it

I heard the same thing, too bad DS 8 has an appetite that does not get satisifed with the kids CS

If he eats that much, maybe you can buy him an adult dining plan instead of a child. If you're going during free dining, I'd just say he was 10. Or there's always the option of one of you eating his child meals. (Sorry, that sounded sarcastic)

At table service resturants Children and Adults are seperate absolutely for sure.

Counter services credits are beginning to be seperated. The problem this is creating is that they must be rung up on seperate transactions:
For example, a guest walks up with a tray of food. The cashier rings in all the food. The guest then says "oh.. I think I have some dining thing" (which is what most people say!) The cashier must then void out the entire transaction. THEN, ring adult meals, cash out and THEN ring kids meals and then cash out. This equals VERY VERY slow moving lines.

This is a problem which they have been working on for some time, some locations are doing seperate transactions, some still have adults and kids lumped together. I was told recently that beginning this week they would be seperate alll over property, but I am uncertain as to when this will actually take place. At this point however, we have been instructed to charge OOP for kids who obviously have adult meals.

haha, well I certainly hope not, but take it easy on your cashiers because DDP makes your lines at least 10x slower. You MB'ers of course are not the problem, you know EXACTLY how the DDP works and what you can and cannot get. I would say 80% of people have NO clue. They come up with 32 things that are not included in their meal and do not want snack credits nor do they want to pay for the items. At least half of all people dont understand the difference between counter service and table service, Let alone snacks!!
