Remodeling at BWV and preferred view

Hi,

We will be staying at BWV soon and were hoping to get a room overlooking the boardwalk. I had another poster on another forum say that they weere remodeling the boardwalk and that most of the 1 bedroom BWV facing the boardwalk were closed off. :nooo: Does anyone know if this is true?????

I haven't heard anything about remodeling at the Boardwalk. Anyone ?
But I have heard that its pretty tough to get a Boarwalk View room, but it never hurts to request it.
Good luck!

In December, they were just finishing up the Inn side, and I thought they had already done the villa side, but I may be wrong. We stayed in a studio, 5th floor, overlooking the boardwalk a couple of years ago. Our room was right under the O in "Crest O the Wave". It was nice to be there.

Yes, there are only a couple of rooms that over look the boardwalk. Make sure you ask for a boardwalk view, since many of the preferred view room overlook the pool area. One downside, it is a looooong walk to the boardwalk view rooms from the eleveator, and there is no good way to get from the room down to the boardwalk, you have to go back through the lobby.
