If I remember correctly piratesfan and I will be crossing paths at the polynesian, they will be checking out as we are checking in (I think) I hope all of you have a great time and can't wait for the trip reports!

Wow, thanks for the well wishes everyone!That's pretty super. Actually I made it here down south on Friday afternoon. Right now I'm visiting my sister and family who live down here and decided to see what was going on at the forum, and was pleasantly surprised to see these well wishes. That's really very nice.

Well, report so far... it's HOT. My niece and another neice's husband both graduated from UCF yesterday - she got her Bachelor's, he got his Masters in Education, so we are all very proud of them. When we arrived in Orlando on Friday it was about 80 something, but the temperature shot to at least 90 yesterday. Good day to be in an air-conditioned auditorium!

With so much family here that I haven't seen in a year, that is my main focus right now. My dad & I be headed to the AllStarMu tomorrow for the week. At this point NOT entirely sure which park or when, but I will be staying near the magic and trying to enjoy that experience for a while. Dad's almost 85 and I'm not sure if he can deal with a whole day in that heat, but that's part of the reason I chose a nearby resort.

Well, again, thanks to all for the well wishes, that's really awesome. I think I'm easy enough to spot without the ribbons ;), but do hope to meet any of you. Best wishes to all who are forthcoming. Bring your sunblock!

Goofette's family and mine were at the AKL last year at the same time but we just never found each other .. I was so disappointed, it would have been great to have met her in person.

Hiya folks,
I'm back and had a super, super time. I'll put up my trip report in that section of the forum for those who are asking.
Thanks so much for the well wishes. It was HOT, but not unbearable. Had fun relaxing and took in a day at Epcot to make sure I didn't come home longing for a trip back.
However, imagine my delight and surprise to find the Disney Planning Video (DVD) at my doorstep with the week's mail. What a cool way to come back to more of the magic! And with this new Fantasy deal I've heard about, it's just about time to start planning a fall trip, I think. Let's see, expires October 30th, hmm. My birthday week... :-)
More soon!

PS: DisneyAnne - THANKS! That was a lot of fun to put together. I took a ton of photos that time, but this time, since my stay was really family related, the pictures are sparse. Rest assured, though, that when and if I do post them, (or any others I might have), I'll let everyone know!
