Where to stay??

Okay now that I'm going to WDW again in March (yes, yes, yes :D :D ) We must decide where to stay. We have narrowed it down to either Port Orleans Riverside, Wilderness Lodge, or Polynesian. There are 6 of us going needing 2 rooms OR a 2 bedroom villa. How different is there in the prices (with discounts)? I know I've seen Port Orleans for like $94/night I think with codes. ALSO, please keep in mind we plan on going back in October 2005 for DD's birthday and that trip will be the one where we want to go all out this trip is just a bonus trip. SO which would you choose???

Thanks!!

Good suggestion, but the jr. suites are never included in any discounts that are released by Disney. That may change next year, but up to now, they haven't been. Typically, it is about the same price to stay in a two bedroom villa as in the jr. suite, though that is depending upon discounts, of course.

Did you like CBR?

If you were happy with CBR, why not go back? I always stay at CBR- every time. If CBR isn't for you, perhaps try POR and Poly for the B-Day party trip. CS is also nice. Have you thought about CS? (I keep thinking of new info and editing this msg. Sorry)

We loved CBR but we want to try as many WDW resorts as possible, then I can really pick a favorite. The next one will really have to be good to beat CBR though.

Nice or Not?

Disney is very good at providing top notch hotels and services. I recommend that you take a day or two, and travel to some of the other hotels and check them out. I used the Disney bus system to do just that. Every trip I would check out one or two Disney hotels, just to see if I was missing something. Some of the Deluxe hotels are really nice! But whether a hotel is nice or not, is subjective and up to you and your family. You are the best judge of what you like or dislike.
I am curious about Pop Century and I can not wait for the pics of that hotel to be posted somewhere. I am also curious about how intrusive Bonnet Creek will be on CBR.

I'd choose the Wilderness Lodge for this trip and The Poly for the BIG trip.
We are almost 90% sure about the WL for our 2004 vacation, going to visit there in a few weeks and check it out.

Have fun planning!!!

Well I'm personally 100% sure about Wildnerness Lodge BUT my parents are going again and I'm not sure they want to spend that kind of $$ so I'm going to let them decide. The one thing in our favor is that we took my dad to Whispering Canyon in March and he loved the WL so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I'll let you know how it shakes out.

Well, here is what we have decided since everyone seems to think Poly for the big one and it is so expensive we are going to do POR OR POFQ this go around and do Poly in October 2005 (of course that is always subject to change).

I'm going to post another thread about Port Orleans with some questions.
