Wilderness Lodge newbie

Thanks to the Fairytale package we've decided to book a trip. The Wilderness Lodge is a great value so we're giving it a try. My DD is excited about the thought of sleeping in a bunk bed. Who has stayed in a bunk bed room and can recommend a good location. Specific room # would be a huge plus!! I was thinking the main building would be convenient... help needed!

Thank You B Davis!! The WL Villas look really nice. It won't be long now!! :D

Another question for you all... guess I'll stick it here instead of starting a new post.
Is the pool a zero entry or just a regular one? Also, what about the slide - is it fun? The photos on wdwig didn't show much detail and the pool is pretty important to my little mermaid! It did look like they have fountains to splash in. I need details.

The pool at the Wilderness Lodge is my kids' second favorite, after Beach and Yacht club. The theming is great, with a bubbling stream in the lobby that flows outside and turns into a big river that flows directly into the pool. The pool water appears to leave the pool right into Bay Lake (though it doesn't, just looks like it).

While the pool isn't zero entry, there is a very large kids pool area that is very shallow and has steps all around the outside. The water-slide is short, but quite fun (OK, I go on all of them, I admit it). It empties into the kids area. There are also some nice hot tubs that overlook the geyser and the lake.

The resort is just fabulous, with a bunch of places to just sit and relax, both inside and out. I think you will love it.

I don't believe the WL pool has zero entry. But I could be wrong.

There are not that many rooms with bunkbeds in the WL. If you want a room with bunkbeds, I suggest requesting just that, a room with bunkbeds. For the best shot at that type room, don't get any more detailed in your request, with the exception of smoking optional or non-smoking.
