Does not help us any but maybe it could help someone else. We need the passholder rates . This wont work for us unless we purchase Magic your Way tickets. No way I am going to do that after we spent the money on the seasonal passes. Not to mention it skipped the dates we are going to be there. <fingers crossed..hoping the passholder rates come out SOON>

You can always apply your unused one day ticket, which in effect never expires, as credit for your pass renewal. And that's this year's dining plan that still includes the tip and appetizer, not the 2008 version we've been discussing.

I wish I could use that but we have APs. I would love to get an AP rate for our Christmas trip but we're not checking in until 12/21 so I'm not planning on seeing one for that late. It would be nice but not expected.

Maybe I'll call and see if there's a savings for our Christmas trip. We have APs so we don't need the MYW ticket so we may not come out ahead having to buy a ticket we don't need. I know we can save it to use later or apply it to a new AP or ticket but it's still money out of pocket that we wouldn't have to spend now.

Interesting. I am waiting on passholder rates as well, but my dates don't appear up there either. I noticed that many things are already booked for that first week in December. No availability at WL, at POR or POFQ for the dates I looked into.

Did you already make a reservation? Several months ago we went ahead and booked the AKL Savannah w/bunk beds for the weekend of Nov 30th. We had to book it at rack rates ($310 + tax). They didnt even have any of those rooms available to book then with AAA rate (Savannah w/bunk beds). I love the resort but I think that $310 is so overpriced. We booked it with the hopes that the discounts would come out and figured if no discounts came out then we would decide whether to just suck it up and pay the rate or downgrade to a moderate. Chances are we will just suck it up and pay the higher rate. DS is so looking forward to the savannah view and bunk beds.

No not yet. I should have when I first started looking. I didn't think DH was going to go for 2 trips this year. We originally thought we would try Oct. this year, but that didn't work out, so he said go ahead and book Dec. But now it looks like we'll be living large and staying for big $$!! Hehe!! I don't blame your DS for being excited about the savannah view. It is awesome!

Checked w/ 2 reservationist and they both quoted me the same thing. $1567 ,3 nights YC/Conc/Garden. I made room only reservations yesterday (Sun) for 12/13 to 12/16/07 w/o any discounts. With the Visa pkg. and HAVING to buy 2, 1 day passes (hopper), I figured out that the discount is only $44.00 per night at the YC, plus we would have to trade in the two PH for a 7 day Hopper for DH, since I have an AP. I am also waiting for the AP rates, rrom only disc.. We have used the AP disc. rates the last 2 yrs. in DEC. and have saved a bundle. I wish that when you have both the AP & the Disney Visa, they would be willing to make minor changes like "YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY TICKETS". Not to mention, the cancellation restrictions are much more flexible with the room only disc.

Yup, thats the reason I like the room only reservations. The cancellation restrictions are much better for us.
