Staying at Caribbean Beach 9/2-9/8

Anyone have a suggestion as to which village to request. I know it's only a request, but i think it might be worth a try

We stayed there in November '06 and we were in Barbados... It was quite a walk to the main building but the bus station was right out front. I think Martinique is the closest to the main building...the name of the building escapes me

but I am sure another MB'er will be able to tell you that.

We have been in Jamaica which is close to the walk way over to the food court and also in Aruba which we preferred as we had the beach front and it's also close to the check in and bus stop. The only draw backs to these locations is when returning by bus it can take a little more time

I think we were in Trinidad South, which was more like West Jebbib in terms of closeness to the main building.

We stayed in Jamaica (45 I think) and loved the location. Right next to a quiet pool and right across the bridge from Old Port Royale (pool and food court)

Jamaica or Aruba are my faves. They are on the other side of the lake so it's secluded but still a short walk to Old Port Royale. I always request Jamaica building 44 or 45, corner room. :)

I think martinique (sp?) is a nice location. It was there or trinidad north for my choice when I was suppose to stay there a few years back...never ended up staying there and went to WL however.

Last two times we were at Jamaica 45 and loved it, perfect location in my mind. Far enough away to not hear the pool crowd, close enough that you don't mind the stroll over to the main building for morning coffee.

DON'T get trinidad South. Its to far from port royal. I liked the place but would never goe back because I stayed in Trinidad South it turned me off.

The CM was very nice but, of course, reiterated that it was a request only. I requested Jamaica 44 or 45 corner room. (not to be a copycat, lol, but you sounded like it was a great experience!!

We love Jamaica!!!

Aruba is basically the same situation as Jamaica... right across the bridge from the main activities... but we love the yellow of the Jamaica buildings!

Anyplace you get to stay in CBR is going to be nice as the entire Resort is so nice

LOL That's ok! I'm flattered! ;) That's always been what my family requests. My Dad just got back and ended up staying in a room where we'd already stayed because of the "request". LOL Jamaica 4557. You know you've been to CBR too many times when you can say you've stayed in the same room more than once!
