fairy tale package??? Where?

Okay, I've been on the Disney website and it doesn't seem to have updated news or anything. The website seems the same and I can't find any info on the fairytale package. How do you access that?

I don't believe they'll advertise that on their website. You have to call and use a code to get the special package.
Check this thread on the package.

Sue, my guess is that it won't be on the Disney site for a couple of weeks if at all. You can all Disney directly or contact a Disney only travel agency and they can help you. I just got of the phone booking 12 separate packages, no problem with availability anywhere except the first week of November.

I am not going to tell you if we are good or not, I will leave that up to others. :D

You shouldn't ever have to pay extra for an agent, unless you are booking domestic airfare (not as part of a package) or a small Disney package (some charge surcharges for packages under $500 total price).

Yes, and you don't pay extra for their patience or service (Mousketrips called for three days to get me our AP rates for a whole week - I could not imagine doing that on my own.) I'm a nervous nellie who usually books her own vacations, but have found the advice not only invaluable, but it was free. You don't usually get advice by calling Disney agents, or a basic travel agent.

Well I'm sooo excited I just booked the fairytale package for Oct 13th -20th we will be staying at the Beach Club (anybody have any thoughts on that one - never stayed there). They quoted me the following for the 7 night package for 2 adults and three DS's (15, 12, 9)

Poly - 2,918
POR - 2, 142
Comp - 2,561
Beach - 2,851

I call Disney travel Company we used they in the past with no problems there toll free ## is 1-800-828-0228. I like to price all my options then you know what available. Rememeber to give them code ZRFS (that the code for the general public)

Yes, Beach Club, standard view room, $2,851.15. That price includes the optional insurance. You could remove it to save yourself $70.

Wow, when you think about it, that really is a great deal.

Personally, I would have paid the extra $60 and stayed at the Poly, but either one is a good choice. If you spend more time at EPCOT and Disney Studios, you made the right choice.

I just want to add that I am just using Mouseketrips for the first time and the service has been outstanding!!:D

I actually work in the Quality Assurance field which is why I think I am in awe regarding some of the "Quality" systems at Disney. Mouseketrips seems to complement these well.

And for the record, I am one really darn picky Goofy!!!

Yes my first thought was to stay at the Poly but we stayed there last trip and I wanted to try something new. Our favorite park is Epcot and then MGM so that's why I picked the Beach Club. Last night I called Disney back to see if I could change my dates (hubby wanted closer to Nov because we have that teacher convention Nov 6/7 and we'd also be there for DS's birthday) they were totally booked the only thing available was the Poly and AKL. I may end up at the Poly after all :laugh Thanks for the info.

AKL Fairytale package

I wanted to post this and see what ya'all thought.
We orginally booked a 6 day 5 night dream maker package staying at the AKL with a savannah view room with our travel agent. The cost was 2160.00 for 2 adults. (The fairytale package wasnt available yet)
Called her back today and asked about the fairytal package and OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH BOY!!!
We got 8 days and 7 nights(July 29 thru Aug 5) in the AKL Savannah view for 1750.00
I couldnt believe it..... Of coarse we jummped on it. When my DH came home from work he was shocked when I told him.
I still cant believe that we are going to be there for 8 days.

I think that this is a GREAT deal and was wondering if ya'all think so? Also what kind of deals anyone else got booking this package etc?
Thanks :)
