How far in advance do you book?

I have decided we are going to WDW next Sept. (2008). It will be me and at least my youngest DS, and maybe the oldest DS. How far in advance do you book? I know 2008 packages are out and I know that if a special deal comes out later I can get the special rate. So would it be foolish for me to book now or should I wait until after the first of the year? We will be staying at a mod. I was planning on POR, but am not sure after reading some of the problems with Mousekeeping. I was considering CBR or CSR. I have never stayed at either one of those. I stayed at POR when it was still Dixie Landings and loved it. So any advice? I will need the year to pay for this trip.

Re: How far in advance do you book?

I book as soon as I decide on dates. Do not delay. Pay it off slowly and have it done. Discounts that may come out can be applied to it later. Get the booking.

As soon as possible! I have two trips booked right now and I am waiting for my one year mark so I can book the one after that.

Re: How far in advance do you book?

I book as soon as I have dates in mind. Changes can always be made along the way but I always feel better knowing that my little space at the "world" is reserved. I wouldn't delay!

When should you book? NOW.

'nuff said, because everyone else already said what I was going to say.

Re: How far in advance do you book?

No time like the present to get the ball rolling! We book way in advance most years for our trips, it gives us pleanty of time to build up excitment and save all those pennies to pay it off and have spends! Once its booked your already one step closer.
We stayed at POR a few years back and really enjoyed it, the atmosphere is so relaxed, perfect after a busy day at the parks! We never really had too many problems with housekeeping, nothing major anyways.

Hi Cindy!! Welcome back, I haven't seen you around in along time. I can't wait to hear more about your plans as your trip develops.

I always book as soon as I know my dates. I may makes changes to it through the year but I love knowing it's booked and I can start saving the money because the trip feels real then.
