I need to fax my room request in today. Does anyone know a good view I should ask for? We'll be staying in a studio. Should I ask for floor on a higher level? This is an anniversary trip, I would like to get a good view if possible. We have never stayed at this resort before, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not much help, but I'll give it a go...

First, be sure to clearly prioritize your room requests. Depending on a number of factors (but mostly supply vs. demand), sometimes they will only try to accomodate the first request. On our first trip to the villas, we received exactly zero of our two room requests (non-smoking and room closer to the lodge).

The rooms on the highest floor and closest to the lodge - I believe the Northeast part of the Villas - could have a view of Bay Lake. Most of the rest of the rooms are going to give you a woods view of some degree. While it's not the best view since the trees are tall, it does complete that feeling of being in the Pacific Northwest instead of central Florida.

You want to get as high up as possible. Ask for a lake view room on the highest floor available. Lower floors will give you a wonderful view of the trees behind the villas or the pool. If you get a 4th or 5th floor room you will be more likely to get a view of Bay lake or the main lodge.:) :)
