we stayed at AKL last spring and it was just wonderful .. of course romance was sorta out ..since our granddaughters were with us .. but I think it would be a very very romantic place and it really is amazing. there are the rockers in some viewing area's where there was hardly ever anyone there .. in fact we came across lots of area's in the resort that were nice and quiet (at least till we got there) I would choose it for romance, if I had that option

I can vouch for AKL. Its an awesome place for young and old, couples, families. I don't think anyone could go wrong with the choice. Its just an all around awesome place!
The WL looks great too. Guess it will be a tough choice, but I am sure you can't go wrong with either. Have Fun!!

We will be staying at AKL in a couple of days. I too had a hard time choosing between the two, in fact there are several resorts that I want to stay at. Gee, what a good reason to go back!!
I will let you know how it was when we get back. :D

I just returned from the AKL this past weekend and I would totally recommend it! Maybe I'm biased becuase I've never stayed at the WL, just the cabins. lol. The AKL is beautiful, and I could easily say that its a romantic resort. It doesn't matter if you stay in a standard room becuase there are viewing spots for the savannah all over the place.I'll be posting my review of the AKL today, so you can read about it in the trip reports forum. Are the room prices the same? I think the AKL might be alittle more expensive, but I'm not sure. A plus for the WL would be the ferry service to the MK, and your right next to the TTC that goes everywhere. With whatever you decide have a great time!
Joe:)
