WL flag family

We just got back from Disney World. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. When we checked in, I asked if there were any openings to be the flag family while we were there. The Cast member checked the book and there was an opening. On the big morning we met a cast member who gave us the flags to carry and up we went. Up..and up..and up. We went thru the concierge level...then up even higher. Out onto the roof of the Wilderness Lodge. The view was unbelievable. We could see the castle in the MK, the Tree of Life in AK, the Earful tower in the studios, and the big ball in Epcot. We got to raise the flags and take lots of pictures. We even got a special certificate. For anyone staying at the WL, it is really a great experience for the whole family!

I had no idea this was something they offered. Each new idea I find out about makes me tickled that I am part of this group!:)

Buzz...we met the cast member at 8:15.
Not to rub it in Bruce....but there were 3 mornings open we could choose from during our stay. :whistle:
The cast member, Rebecca, was so great. She kept telling us to take our time...that it was our day. Plus we got to have a look at the concierge floor and snacks. Cant wait to see our pictures and videos we took.

The trick is to be smart enough to ask the question. Guess you were. I got lots smarter for my trip by reading this forum everyday for months before we went!
