Disney Champagne? Details please...
Has anyone heard of Fairy Tale Cuvee Champagne??? I would be interested to know if it is just a perk for special occasions that are being celebrated at the parks, or if it is possible to arrange to get a bottle for celebrations at home!
From allearsnet: "When we returned to our room one evening, we found a wonderful gift from the staff at the Innkeeper's Club; it was bottle of Fairy Tale Cuvee Champaign and some Boardwalk chocolates and a Mickey and Minnie photo frame." I found an itsy bitsy pic of the bottles on google:

Yes I have heard of it and love it. You can only get it at WDW. However a another mousebuzzer directed me to the Iron Horse Wedding Cuvee as being very similar to the Fairy Tale Cuvee. I agree it is very close and in fact I have a bottle on my counter right now that I bought locally.
Both are made by Iron Horse. |

Re: Disney Champagne? Details please...
It is not too sweet nor too dry. It is nicely balanced. I first had it at the Food and Wine festival either last year or the year before. You could buy a bottle at the Festival wine store. I am thinking you may be able to find it at some stores in one of the Disney hotels. I know they sell bottles of wine in one store in each resort. I haven't specifically looked for it though.
As I said the Wedding Cuvee is fairly similar in the taste profile. I get my bottles from Total Wine (a wine werehouse chain here on the east coast). I imagine other wine store would carry it. |
