Florida Resident Discount Question
Hi all!
I am planning a trip to WDW in November with 4 of my friends from high school. I know that there have been no FL resident discounts posted for this time yet but we are hoping there will be some. Anyway, one of my friends is a Florida resident and has been for at least 6 six years. Can we get the Florida Resident Discount for the resorts if only one member of our party is actually a Florida resident? Also, what is the process for that? Would we need to book the rate in her name? We are planning on reserving the rooms soon so we know we have them and then rebooking at whatever lower rate might come out. Any advice would be appreciated! Karen

I think with FL residents, they can book up to 3 rooms. They must be present at check in, but they don't have to pay for it. To be safe, I would put all the reservations in her name, and then when you check in, you can just pay your portion.
