I joined the booking banwagon!
Im booked as well!!! I just booked 1 adult (me) and my 2 DD for 9-19 9-27 8 nights at POP.. DH wants no part of this trip so it looks like a mom and daughters trip.. So I booked an 8 night trip with 8 day park hopper.. I didnt add the meal plan yet because I have high hope that they will offer a code.. Do you think that they will?
Can anyone tell me the best building to stay in at pop that is in the standard section? I want to put a request in.. I want to be close to the bus stop but not pay perfered price.. I also told them we will be there to celebrate my youngest DD bday. It will be 2 days before we get threre.. My oldest DD said that she wanted to celebrate hers as well. Will they do that if it was the month before? I dont want to let her feel left out can anyone suggest some great dining places for us as well.. Time for me to get planning and saving..

We've never stayed at POP so have no advice, but wanted to welcome you to the booking bandwagon. It's fun to watch buzzers one by one book their next trip. We just found out yesterday that one of our daughters and granddaughter may join us in December. That would be so much fun. They haven't been to wdw since 2000. Lots of new things to share with them.

Holy moley! I am starting to feel like I am the only MBer who doesn't have a park trip planned... but I am very happy for you and your upcoming trip!!! EVeryone seems to lvoe the Pop!

Congratulations!!! They shouldn't have a problem letting your daughter celebrate her birthday. Just tell them that the trip is to celebrate both of your daughter's birthdays and there shouldn't be a problem.

We've stayed at POP many times and our favorite location is the 60's building (our room was right in front of the kiddie pool and amazingly quiet) and just a two minute walk to Everything POP.
As far as birthday go; they do not have a problem if the birthday has already passed or is upcoming. We've done that and they have been very nice in delivering the birthday card with balloons to our room. This past time my brother got Chip & Dale for a birthday picture (he just loves them  ) and my DD7 got Sleeping Beauty. We save the birthday cards because they make great mementos.We love to celebrate birthdays at Chef Mickey. During their "party time" they'll bring a cupcake with a candle to the table and also give you a take home placemat. Just be sure to mention wherever you sit down for a meal that you are celebrating a birthday and they will go out of their way to make it special. My brother's favorite was Tony's Town Square at the MK. They brought to our table the most delicious ice cream sundae!!

my favorite places to eat at WDW momma melrose at MGM crystal palace ohanna breakfast or dinner whispering canyon 1900 park fare lecellier breakfastsaurus rainforest at the AK park.

I don't love Pop.
I don't love Pop. Pop is even worse than the All Stars if you have a car. The majority of buildings at Pop aren't even close to a parking lot! Now, I can appreciate many hotel guests fly in and use ME and Disney Transport exclusively, but for those with cars, this is a huge pain!
The 60s are totally landlocked. One building each in the 50s and 70s is totally landlocked. The affected buildings are 3, 4, 5, and 6. And it seems like there isn't enough parking, although we did get lucky late at night, but still had a long walk from car to room. This is my biggest complaint about Pop.
