Pc

We are going Apr 1 and staying at PC. Never stayed in value resorts. Any pros or cons?

Re: Pc

Pop Century is like our home away from home!! We have stayed there several times and just love it . They don't have a full service restaurant but seriously, who misses that?? The bus service is great, the CMs are wonderful and if you get a preferred location room you are close to it all. It is my favorite of the values and I don't believe you will have any complaints.

Re: Pc

I will say this- if we ever have to stay at a value again it will definately be POP! it was a great place and the busses were plenty- I think I actually preferred it to cramming us all into one room at POR- you made agreat choice

Re: PC

I loved POP! We stayed in the 70's buildings, ground floor... they play disco music outside and although we didn't have a "preferred" room it was a short trip to all of the pools and the main building. We had no complaints with bussing or the food court; no complaints about anything! I'm sure you will have a fabulous time!

we are staying at ASMo in September, and I'm kinda sad; I really enjoyed POP and I'm sure I will stay there again.

Re: Pc

We stayed there our first trip and will stay there again this coming trip. We really enjoy it!! It's very kid-friendly. DS (11) requested that we stay there again, even after staying at a moderate last time. Probably the biggest con . . . the rooms are small. But if it's only to rest the weary head, it doesn't matter!

BTW, welcome to Mousebuzz!!!

Re: Pc

we have stayed at ASMo 2 times and had no real complaints.

the only con. that even comes to mind is not one that would be true for everyone or every room, BUT....the beds were not too comfy...but when you are as tired as we usually were...it wasn't so uncomfortable i couldn't sleep! :C)

you will love POP...i've heard nothing but good things!

Re: Pc

I like POP over the other values for many reasons, but the main one is the buses. POP has their own bus, the other All Stars share, that can be really bad.

The theming in all the values is different, and the resorts are generally the same, but the rooms are set up mostly the same. POP is the newest if that is important to you.

Welcome to MB!

Re: Pc

One value is pretty much the same as the other.
Food, rooms, layout. Only the giant props are different.
Pop is the biggest single value resort with 50% more rooms than any one All Star. That's 3,000 vs 2,000. When you add up the three All Stars, that's 6,000 rooms total and the three share buses to all destinations except Magic Kingdom.
Other than that, I am no fan of parking at Pop if you get back to your room late.
The beds are doubles, not queens. The H/C rooms feature huge roll in showers in all 4 hotels.
