All Star Sports Opinions

We are headed back to Disney later this year. We wanted to stay at the All-Star Movies where we have stayed before but are ending up at the All-Star Sports one instead.

Other than just theme, are there any real differences?

Also, my DS really liked the fountain area that they had between the Love Bug buildings at AS Movies - do they have something like this at the Sports one?

Would I be better off at AS Music instead?

It will be me, my DH, and 2yo DS.

Thank you.

We've stayed at both Movies and Sports. Besides the theme, they are exactly the same. Rooms the same and lobby's and cafe's are the same too. We enjoy staying there, since my son is really into sports!!

I'm not sure about the fountain. But there is tons to see if you walk around, and also, its just a short walk to see that favorite fountain from the sports to the movies.

Say what, that is a very long walk. :nooo:

From Music to the Fountain is still a good walk as well.

Love Bug is on the far side of Movies.

Haha Ok, you got me there. :p It isn't the shortest walk you could make, but if he really wanted to see it, you could walk over there or even drive over to that area. After 3 times of staying at All Stars, i still haven't been able to see Toy Story!!!:( So this time we are walking (or driving;) over from the sports to see it!!:D

Yes, driving to visit may be a good option, since basically staying at any All-Stars is like staying at all All-Stars. Bring your towels though.

We stayed at Sports and enjoyed it.

They have a large artificial turf type field that the kids can play on so bring a nerf football or something similar.

My kids also liked the baseball pool which has a goofy in the middle (pitchers mound) that periodically shoots out a gob of water.

Otherwise, I think all of the All-Stars are similar.

Enjoy.:D

But is there a fountain at the Sports or the Music AS? Does anybody remember? Or a playground?

From my understanding, there is a playground at all the All Stars but only a water spout/fountain area at Movies (Love Bug).

I know for a fact that there is a play ground at All Star sports. Not sure about the water fountain. I never saw one, but we did not have a chance to explore the whole complex. We will be there in 10 days, and i can report back what i find when we get back! Not sure when you plan on going if that will be too late, but it would be good and helpful to others also!
