I think 90 days is the earliest you can book. I'd book before your trip just in case especially if you're going at a busy time.

Booking ahead is always wise, but I can honestly say that when we saw the horse and carriages at POR people could walk right up and get aboard. Sometimes both carriages were waiting for passengers. We were there right after Thanksgiving.

I was going to say the same, we have seen the carriage just waiting for passengers and other guests just walking up and getting their ride there and then. But if you do know which date and time you'd like to do this then I would book just to be sure.

I would do it in advance if I could, just to be safe, but it's probably fine making them the same day.

When we stayed at POFQ last fall, we booked in the same week we were there. It was toward the end of the week, so I think we kind of lucked out. I would try and book a little earlier than that depending on the time of year that you go.
