I had the wood view for my trip in July and all they had left was the courtyard view. It was cheaper than my wood view so I took it.

Congratulations on the upgrade and discount, I would have taken it too.

I've been in June, July, and August and I thought August was just as hot as July.

It is so hot we were there last June and swore never again in the summer, but since my nephew is getting married in tampa we just have to stop. My only suggestion is to get to the parks early leave in the afternoon, rest or swin and hit the parks at night.

I agree we have been all three months as well, the only good thing about August is if you go the last week its not as crowded

August is just as hot as June or July and September isn't usually much better.
Matter of fact, it's almost as if someone flipped the switch to "summer" last week. Until then, the nights have been decent, mid to high 60s and the days weren't too bad. Suddenly, it's staying in the mid 70s overnight now and about an hour after sunrise, it's already 80.
I expect the daily thunderstorms to start up real soon too.

I am glad it worked out for you. I was surprised they came out as late as they did.

Re: New Annual Passholder Rates are out!

The AP site is still messed up and the e-mail I finally got about Star Wars Weekends mentions summer rates, but again, the AP site has been locked out since mid week, so there's no info there.
If this thread hadn't been started, I wouldn't have known for sure about anything until I called.

But I would think Disney will have a either/or deal as opposed to letting you have 2 deals

Whilst looking back through the Free Dining correspondence I have from my number one travel advisor Keith from Mouseketrips and this is what he had told me a while ago with regard to AP discount and FD Plan which I had forgotten about:

Historically, one discount's release does not effect another type of discount, so while they have released the free dining the last three years, they have also released room only discounts for Annual Passholders.

So this would be great if we got both- fingers crossed.
