Very often on two day stays, we just leave the Do Not Disturb sign up and don't have any service. We really don't need anything for 48 hours. No extra towels, toiletries, etc. We reuse the towels for an extra day or two all the time. The bed can be straightened by us. We do it at home and we don't generate much garbage either so the room's not in bad shape even after two whole days when we check out.
