I have my whole vacation planned, hotel what parks on which days, ADRs , everthing I can think of, so now what? I feel like all I have to do is watch the clock and my mom has always said "the watch pot never boils" what is there to do to pass the time away?

Daisee said it, that's what I do. Anything that helps. We drive so I try to map out our every move even though it may not go that way, it helps pass the time. We have a 10 & 2 y.o. so I make little things to keep them busy. Now with a local Disney Store closing that helps and I try to pick up little things to keep them busy in the car that will help them get excited about going. I also spend time talking to EVERYONE possible about it. People start asking me when they see me, "How many days now?" So they open the conversation and have to deal with hearing me out! hahaha

You need to make a disney countdown! Make a chain countdown and pull one off every day to watch the days get closer. I start mine at 60days out, but you can do it at 100.

I am in the same boat with you. I just changed up my entire trip last week. I have been trying to put off fixing my planner as long as possible so I still have stuff to do for my trip..lol You can always start making a packing list and putting little things away here and there to derag out that process....I have already started that..lol

WE do a countdown too! We just have te # on a regular calander, DS LOVES to cross off the dates. Sense our trip was so far away, he made me do ones for the end of school, his birhtday, going to summer camp. Anything to make the Disney trip not seem so far away. He gets 2 this year so he's really excited!

Watch the planning DVD, visit the Disney Store often, watch lots of Disney movies to get you in the mood, and then lots of waiting.

That's what I used to do when the kids were little because, you know, THEY were so anxious for the trip to come!

I also read and re-read the menus for the place we are going to eat, deciding what I would choose if I were there right now.

We always did a candy countdown. I'd fill individual jars (each kid would decorate their own jar with Disney stickers, etc) with jelly beans, or jujubes or gummy bears in the amount of days we had left to countdown. Then everyday, you eat a candy. When your jar is empty - you're on your way!

I also try to do one little thing everyday for the trip. Go out a buy new socks, whatever. Just something for the trip.

I too have a countdown BUT its kinda opposite.

Ty and I make a big deal of putting $1 away per day till the trip so we can buy something special. We keep track by saying how many days we have left but putting $1 into a jug I have that I decorated with WDW stuff.

Another way I pass the time is by doing checklists and packing lists like everyone else but now I have found that those are complete soooo my packing list has moved on to specifics, for example:

Tuesday, September 16
Old List: Tyler, Shirt & Shorts day, Costume evening
New List: Mickey Mouse T-shirt and Jean Shorts, Buzz Lightyear Costume

I know, I am a freak but it works!

DD and I went in the Disney store yesterday just to get a little pre Disney fix whilst waiting for our trip!
