Hi, all, we are going back for our third year of Free Dining and I am working on a plan that will add LOTS of new activities...my kids are getting bigger, no Pooh, or Dumbo for them! I have heard of a few activities that go on at some of the deluxe resorts that are supposedly open to all Resort guests, but have only heard of one reviewed on this board. The movie and smores at CBR was mentioned and I have read that at FWL? there is a nightly Chip and Dale Bonfire and Movie. I confirmed this with a CM on the phone when I booked my vacation, but I wanted to know if anyone had been to this and if we can feel comfortable going (we are, of course, staying at POP, our favorite!) We really want to go, but dont want to feel like intruders or party crashers...has anyone gone to this or other activities like it? We dont blend well, we kinda stand out, the kids are generally NOT Shy and will say anything to anyone...so...any advice is appreciated.
CANT WAIT!

Re: Nightly activities at the Resorts - open to all?
I believe anyone can do it as long as your staying at a Disney world resort ...
I know pop has things going on too at night I know they used to have a twister game going all you have to do is ask and they will let you know if they have stuff going on at night .. I know when we were there in October for Halloween they had a halloween party at night for guests who stayed there

Re: Nightly activities at the Resorts - open to all?
AKL has African storytelling around the firepit at night. I'm pretty sure there isnt someone there upon entering that is going to check your i.d. I don't think the guests at the resort will know if the person next to them is staying at AKL or not.

As far as I know the acitivies at the report are open to all WDW guests. Call and check with each resort to be sure, but I think it's open to anyone.

Re: Nightly activities at the Resorts - open to all?
The Chip n' Dale movie and associated activities are open to all WDW resort guests, regardless of which one you are staying at. We are going to be checking it out for the first time the week before you arrive! "It's-a-small-world..." ou know where this is going....
I called FWC to confirm that all are welcome! They also suggested blankets or chairs to relax on for the movie and to come at least 30 minutes ahead to get a good place to view the movie and enjoy the activites from. BA

AKL also have a night vision on certain nights which is great fun, you get these high tech biniculors and get to see the animals night-vision style plus the guides dotted around know some pretty good info!

Re: Nightly activities at the Resorts - open to all?
I had heard a vague few bits about the Chip and Dale bonfire thingy but that is about it. I never realised that there were other things going on at other areas/resorts also?! How cool is this?! Thanks for this thread- I am going to do some more digging about to see what I can find out!

Can you do these select Resort evening activities if you're staying at a DTD hotel?

What if you are staying off-site? Can you still do the activities?
