Is this resorts or dining?

So I was calling to add the dining plan for two of the three days we're staying next week and just before I called, I decided to see if standard level rooms were available at the WL at passholder rates. They were!
And I was all set to change from AKL to WL and then I remembered. I have breakfast reservations at Boma two of the three mornings and Donald's at Tusker House on the remaining morning.
So, rather than change dining plans, I decided to tough it out at AKL even though I'd be happier on the shores of Bay Lake.

So is this dining related or resort related?

Re: Is this resorts or dining?

It is related to both but more so resort, maybe?!?! Oh wow, poor you having to "TOUGH" it out at AKL. I wish I had such a problem. I understand the problem though I think I would be happier at WL if I ever actually stay in a deluxe that is.

Re: Is this resorts or dining?

It's both!!
Congrats on moving resorts..how come you prefer WL to AKL? I've stayed at AKL but never WL but I'd love to stay at both again someday!
And I know you love that omelet station at Boma don't you? Or am I confusing you with someone else? Anyway, to me it'd be worth the trip!

Re: Is this resorts or dining?

I'm not moving. I'm staying put because I've got multiple reservations at Boma and it was too much of a pain to change around 2 out of 3 breakfasts.
I wanted a standard room at WL, but all they had were courtyard at WL or standards at AKL.
And true to form, the closer we got to the date, the class of room I wanted became available.

I like the WL over AKL mostly because of the lake but also I like the psuedo National Park lodge style of WL.
I'm a sucker for omelets, that's true.

It's OK, I'm locking in WL for October for our anniversary and we'll see what the passholder discounts are when they come out in September.
This means I'm postponing the Grand Floridian until 2009.

I wish you had stuck it into "Parks" then I could have sent you a PM and moved that thing where it belongs

either way is fine, I guess

Why? I knew bloody well this didn't belong in parks.

I think the main point is that sometimes having plans all locked down and dialed in, isn't always the best way to go.
Sure, it wouldn't have been a major disruption changing 2/3 of my breakfast planning as well as bouncing into AK for breakfast as well if I'd moved to the WL, but it created enough of a brain drain that I decided lake access wasn't worth the extra bother.
This time.
