Gift Basket Delivery

Has anyone used the following service:

Disney Welcome © : Home

I would like to have the attached basket in the room when we arrive. I want to surprise Tyler.

Do they guarentee that it will be in the room waiting?

Would they put Tys name on the mickey ears?

Do you think this is too expensive?

Any pros/cons?

Any other recommended businesses that can do the same thing cheaper/better?

Perfect timing! I just spoke to Nancy, my magical planner, about this yesterday... here's what I know...

1. They do NOT guarentee that it will be in the room. Nancy told me that it would not arrive until after our arrival and then Disney CM delivers it to the room. (I was bummed about that...)

2. They will embroider the name for you. You need 48 hrs notice for that service.

3. Nope, I ordered 3 of them yesterday. Considering the price of the autograph book, camera, and mouse ears, if bought in the park, the $$$ for the basket isn't that much more... and I can't WAIT to see the look on their faces when a delivery comes to the door for them (well worth it IMHO).

4. I was bummed that it won't be there before us, but.... as for PROS, see the end of #3!

5. None that I am aware of.

How far in advance should I order the basket?

Do they guarentee that it will be delivered on the day that I order it for? Say I order it for Monday, Sept 15, it won't show up Tuesday right?

I am ok with it not being there when we first arrive but I want Ty to have the stuff for the rest of the trip.

Has anyone used any other of the offers? I am looking at the wine and cheese package. I like the glasses.

They do guarantee for check-in day, just not prior to arrival that day (see the slight difference?). As for when to order, she told me 48 hrs for the embroidery, but if I didn't want embroidery, they will actually guarantee same day delivery if the order is in by 2pm!!

I've used them once a couple of years ago for DW's birthday. I had a surprise planned each day of the trip. I ordered a basket of Disney goodies and they delivered the day it was supposed to be there. Knowing we would be at the park all day, it was waiting for her when we got back to the room. A nice way to end the day.

I do see the difference but thats ok. As long as it arrives the day I want it to.

I can't see how they would guarantee the basket in the room. They don't know what room you're in until you check in
