The grounds are just beautiful. There are quite a few good photo opportunities. The best time to visit there is during the Christmas Holiday season. We stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights for one trip during the Christmas season and I think I took about 300 photos of just the resort. The lobby alone has enough photo opportunities for an hour or so of time.

Narcoossee's for dinner during fireworks time at the Magic Kingdom. Make an ADR. The food is great and the view is awesome.

I don't have any inside information about the GF but I just wanted to say how lucky you are to be staying there. GF was my choice in resorts but I was out voted from my boys with AKL. I hope you have a fabulous time.

Deja-vu...I just posted in another thread that I heard a great recommendation on my favorite Disney podcast for the Garden View lounge at GF. They are open in the afternoons, and have a wide variety of teas (and coffees I think), and light sandwiches/pastries. The couple they interviewed really enjoyed it and try to go there every trip. It defintely sounded interesting and something out-of-the-ordinary to try.

Just stayed there in May. Seems that there were some business trips going on. Didn't see as many Mousefatics as I expected. As everyone said, it is a beautiful resort. Don't know that I would bring children there as there really isn't much for them to do. But a great view of the MK Wishes fireworks. If you want good food and money grows on trees for you...Victoria & Alberts is really good. We did that for an anniversary gift. probably won't do it again. A good 'first time....only time' event!

I don't have young children... the ages are 25,19,15. They are basically adults wanting to do adult things. Is there such a thing as an adult activity in WDW? I think we're all kids when it comes to WDW !!!!!!!!!!
