There is a chance my 10 yr old DN will be joining us on this trip. Now, I need help...

Which resort for 5 ppl w/o spending boocoodles of money? We are scheduled to stay at the POFQ, could I possibly get a roll-away?

Never had to plan for 5 ppl before.

A simple move to POR will fix your problem. They have a trundle bed in some of the rooms. Disney won't give you a roll away or will they let you have 5 in a room made for 4 so you won't get a key for the 5th person.

You can't get a rollies at POFQ, but you can switch to the POR and do the truddle bed.

POR will probably be your best bet and that is a really easy switch. Also have to take into consideration that the trundle bed is very tiny and she may not be comfortable on that. If you have a smaller child traveling with you they may like that better. If not... another option would be trying to get a family suite at ASMusic or maybe two rooms at budget?

We are a family of 5 and really like to do 2 rooms. We have done 2 rooms at the Pop the last 2 years and we're going to do 2 rooms at Caribbean Beach this year. It's nice to have the extra bathroom if nothing else!

Is this only at POFQ? I've gotten a roll away bed at the values . . . they just charged me an extra $10/night? It was a few years ago . . . did they change the policy?

My DD when she was three REFUSED to sleep in the pack and play, so I was told I could rent the rollaway, but it would be an extra $10/night.

I went with my friend and her daughter . . . so a Mom and Daughter in each bed and DD in the roll away!

It must have bene the age because I've never heard of anyone getting to book a standard room made for four for a family of 5 unless one was a baby.

This was like 2 years ago and she was 3 . . . I don't remember. I do remember the fee for the roll away though, cuz I was shocked they charged for it . . . no other resort/hotel I know of does.

I always ask them not to bother with the room keys for the girls . . . they are such a waste . . . we have APs so really we don't need them! Besides for the amount of times we go . . . do you know how many I'd have floating around!

We are a family of 5 and have done POR before, which was great. The trundle bed is nice to put away during the day, but have the extra bed at night.
We are doing two rooms this year at Pop, like missymouse does. We got adjoining rooms, and for 9 nights, the cost was only $200 more than one room at POR. That may be a viable option for you.

You need the room key for EMH. You can check out the suites at All-Stars.

We also have APs but need a key for everyone in the family. How do you do Extra Magic Hours with no keys for the kids? We have to show a key for everyone in our group to get a wristband. We also have to have a key for wristbands to swim in Stormalong Bay. Some Cms just need one key for the group but others have asked for everyone to show proof that they are staying at the resort.
