I like to go just before the holidays. Like the week before Thanksgiving. All the decorations are up, but the people are still at home and I have the parks to myself. Well almost to myself

We don't like going on Holidays. We like going right before holidays. The crowds are much lighter. It makes for a much more enjoyable time.

This will be my first time to be there during the holidays but I've scheduled it so that we will be arriving one week prior to Thanksgiving so we can enjoy the parks while most of the people have not arrived yet. So I would have to vote for not during the holidays.

I'm contradicting my vote.
I voted I don't prefer to go during the holidays, but we've been to WDW for the last 3 New Years' Eves and will probably go this year too.
I was actually in WDW on the day after Christmas 2006, but I'd only driven up to tape fireworks (gas was only $2.40 a gallon or so). I didn't ride anything, I just was in MK and tried to make Epcot in time and just missed.

These are actual holidays. There is nothing wrong with going to WDW during the first two weeks after Thanksgiving because crowd levels are about as low as they ever are.

I REALLY love being their Thanksgiving week because the weather is so mild, there are a couple days with low crowds, you still get to see all the Christmas decorations, and it gets me in the holiday mood. I haven't been during December in a long time.

I prefer going at Halloween, but will go when it works...can't go during the school year any more, so I have to stick with summer. Any WDW is better than none.

I voted yes, but it's not that we really prefer it. Being that I work for a school district, I need to follow the school calendar and that means holidays. We could go in summer but the heat kinda scares us. I'd prefer to deal with crowds than heat.

Too crowded for us during the holidays, so I voted no. Although, I think when the kids are older we'll go during the holidays.

I love to go between the week after Thanksgiving and the third week in December. The weather is mild and the crowds are bearable. The big plus is that I'm not dealing with sweating, cranky kids

I voted no for the true Holiday times. But, I do go for MNSSHP and MVMCP. I don't consider them the holidays, but, you do get that feel when you are there. The crowds are just too much for me and we are ride commandos when we go.

I voted "doesn't matter". I've never done WDW during the holidays, but I have done Disneyland.

Here's my take on it: I love the holiday decorations and festivities, so it's definitely worth it. BUT I don't like the crowds so going directly over the holidays is something I try to avoid. If it's the only time I can go, I'm all for it! But if I can try to go when the parks are a little less crowded, I'll swing that way instead.

I said YES, because we like to do just the "holiday" things WDW offers!

We go at Halloween and Christmas time . . . it the perfect start to our holidays and really gets us in the spirit! We too do the "parties" so we don't really deal with the crowds . .. we always take the time to go to the different resorts and check out how each one is decorated . . . Disney does it with style!
