WL manager arrested
A manager of a Walt Disney World hotel is charged with stealing from a guest.
Sheriff's deputies in Orange County said Patrick Noze, who works at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, stole a credit card out of a guest's wallet and charged $1,200 in auto repairs. The owner of the transmission shop told sheriff's deputies that Noze told them he had permission to use the credit card. Wow! The world is becoming so desperate! So sad!
We have a local police blotter in our paper once a week. It runs 2 maybe 3 lines of petty crimes . . . this week LITERALLY it was 2 PAGES . . . 2 all theft! The one that shocked the heck out of me was this:  Someone actual DRILLED HOLES IN A WOMEN'S SUV gas tank and STOLE her gas!! RIGHT IN HER DRIVEWAY! That is DESPERATE! Things have got to change . . .agreed?  This story makes you kinda nervous to hand over your cc at check in . . . doesn't it?? |

I think this is more like a sad statement on how desperate people are becoming now. Times are tough and we have all become accustomed to living life with some degree of ease. I can see these changes all over the place.
This guy wasn't out buying fast cars and high living...he was getting his car repaired! Very sad.

Glad they caught him!!
I 'm reading to many stories of things been taken by Disney staff... I Guess it proves that there is good and bad every were. Just because he has fallen on hard times does not make it right for him to take from others. I'm sure Disney pay him well enough to get his car repaired. I Hope Disney step in and compensate these people who had the card taken..

I agree w/ ddoll, times are hard! There are so many ppl out there looking for the easy way out. I don't think things are gonna get better. I am glad they caught this person.

Stealing a credit card and using for personal use is wrong, no matter what the circumstances. There are other ways. Check advances, using your own credit card, borrowing from a friend or family member, taking the bus until you can afford the repair. We trust people with our personal information, basically because we have no choice. You can't even make a reservation without a CC anymore. Just sad, and it makes me mad. |

Yes, any theft is unacceptable. However, I can't help but think there is more to this when a person in a respected position risks absolutely everything by doing such a thing.
