Re: Do the in room Refridges ever get cold.

You had a lemon....I had one at POFQ last year too...they have to fix it twice during my 9 day stay. I have also found that they work better if you don't have to much in there. I don't know if it has anything to do with the cold air flow or what, but that's been my experience.

Most times, we end up with frozen water and soda. Most times it is too cold. Sounds like you just got a lemon.

Re: Do the in room Refridges ever get cold.

How big are these refrigerators? Going down with a couple of kids and wife and we are planning to get some deliveries. Is it like a college room dorm sized? Some milk, couple cans or bottles of soda and misc items?

Re: Do the in room Refridges ever get cold.

The ones I've at a CBR were plenty cold. We've also had the problem of milk freezing though it's not really a problem for me....I like my milk icey! :)

Re: Do the in room Refridges ever get cold.

We had one go from freezing our stuff to being too warm in a couple of days. Very frustrating

We just didn't keep much more than a couple bottles of water in it.

Re: Do the in room Refridges ever get cold.

Cinderbella, just curious if you were able to use your medicine after it had frozen and if not did Disney "volunteer" to replace it seeing as how their fridge was the culprit. If mine had frozen I probably would have been Outta luck and could have done a reasonable impersonation of a floppy chicken or at least a drunken chicken till I was able to get some replacement.

Re: Do the in room Refridges ever get cold.

I agree with the folks who said you had a lemon. If that ever happens to anyone just call the front desk & explain, they may switch your room if it can't be turned down. We had to turn our in-room fridge down at SSR because I had a small water bottle in there that froze!
