But let's face it, the Wilderness Lodge's lobby has it all over the Beach and the Yacht. I love National Park lodge architecture.

Considering I don't plan on spending my trip in the resort's lobby, I'm not concerned. The pool at BC is a great selling point and as others have suggested the location is great, especially considering the number of ADRs we have in Epcot. Plus you can't argue that for all of $7.80 a night more it's a great deal (usually BC is $100 a night more than WL). So for this trip BC has won out.

My advice to you was "But for an extra $100 for 4 days, I'd do the Beach."
And that was only because I wasn't sure you were staying 8 days or 9 days or what.
My comment was only about why I like the WL. But it doesn't matter, you'd already said you were staying at the Beach.

Its a great ddeal, definately take it if you want to go to BC. We are trying to get into WL for Christmas (on DVC) and it is completely booked no luck. I wish something would open up for us, but i am glad this was available for you guys!

Good luck! It takes a lot of Pixie Dust to get in VWL at 7 months. I think it books solid at 11 months and the wait list is long. A lot of people buy there just so they can book at 11 months for December.

I always look at it this way - you can spend $100. in the first aisle of the grocery store. If it's really what you want - go for it.

Dairy?
That's the first aisle in virtually every Publix.
That's an aweful lot of milk, cheese, and eggs!
Or are you talking about the back of the store, meat, seafood, and deli?
Tuna steaks at $16.79 a pound, beef tenderloin at $18 a pound, rib eye $11.49,
wild sockeye salmon $14.99. Yeah, $100 or more if you even sneeze.
Or, $100 would be dinner for 4 almost anywhere.

If you're staying 9 days, that averages out to $11.11 a day to upgrade.
We're talking Sally Strothers money.
