Ranchos 7A is done and open again. Casitas 2 is down now for rehab and will be all month. So, as things stand, all of the Cabanas are done and all of the Ranchos are done. Casitas 4 and 5 are complete; once they finish Casitas 2, they will only have the first three floors of Casitas 1 and 3 to finish. Looks to me as if they are on schedule and will be done by October 09 as predicted.

We're going Dec 2nd thru the 10th and will be staying at CSR. So if I'm reading this correctly, all refurb should be done by then? I've requested the Casista's section to stay at. It looks like a good location, close to the main hub. Is this a good choice?

New Hours for Rix Lounge

Rix Lounge will no longer be open on Sundays and Mondays.

Tuesdays-Saturdays, they will open from 8 pm to 2am.

Thursdays-Saturdays there will be a DJ starting at 9 pm.

That is good to know. We are staying Dec. 29-Jan 1st there to celebrate DS's birthday. He chose the resort because he likes the pool there. I was glad because it was going to cost us a ton of points to stay at BCV using our DVC during that time. We have eaten at Pepper Market on several occasions and think the resort is nice.

One questions. Last December they changed the Pepper Market menu and we didn't like it. We talked to the manager and he said a lot of people didn't like the change. It would help if we would fill out a comment card and maybe if enough people voiced their opinion, they would change it back. Do you know if they changed back the menu or is the same one they began to implement just before Christmas last year.

Its still the new menu. No wet burrito which I loved.

That's too bad. I was hoping they would change it back. I loved getting the kung pao chicken and the burbon chicken combination plate at the WOK station. I was hoping they would bring it back.

According to a CM from CSR, they will no longer use the resort specific mugs. They have begun to use the new WDW mugs.
