SSR is my favorite. It's beautiful and relaxing with a laid back type atmosphere.

My least favorites would be the All Stars which have to share most buses between a total of 6000 rooms. To be fair, I'm not much of a fan of the Pop either, as the Pop is pretty much exactly the same as the three All Stars. The mods don't fair much better in my book because they, like the values, are mostly furnished with double or full sized beds while the deluxes all have queens. Yes, there are kings, but each of these resorts has only 60 or so and usually tend to be booked. I know the last time we stayed at the Pop, I had to sleep in the other bed because I was crowded out of bed by my wife. I have enough trouble sleeping through the night as it is.

If you have stayed there you would all pick GRAND FLORIDIAN. We stayed there and there is really no comparison. From the moment you arrive to the second before you leave.....beautiful,convenient,service and comfort. What else do you want in a home away from home?

Poly is my favorite.
ALL of the AllStars and Pop Century are blech, yuck!  Sorry - I don't want to offend anyone who likes them. They have their place - I just don't like all the concrete and cartoony stuff.

So far my favorite is the Poly (although in 8 days I'll be at Beach Club so things may change). I love that tropical feel. My least favorite is the Dolphin. It felt really unDisney to me.
(Keep in mind that I've only stayed at: GF, Poly, Pop and Dolphin with BC happening next week!)

My favorites would have to included POP, Fort Wilderness, and the Contemporary (especially after staying on the concerige floor for a week. I felt like a VIP!)
Least favorite: All Star Sports. I used to love it when I was younger. But I stayed there when my mom was bring me home after I completed the College Program, and it was smaller than remembered it. I don't know if it was because I was in a depressing mood at the time...but now All Star Sports bugs me

Fav Deluxe...AKL (the only deluxe we have ever stayed at...going to Poly in less than a week so I may have to modify my fav after the trip)
Fav deluxe: POFQ Least Fav: All the value resorts ...and the Coronodo. Had an awful experience there years ago and will never return back there. We do not think the values are very comfortable. Rooms are too small, beds are very hard, and the food court reminds us of a college dorm cafeteria. Just not our cup of tea. |
