We are checking in at Pop a month from today.
We stayed once before (during Hurricane Jeannie) and loved the place, thus are option to stay again at this resort. Is their one location better than another on site that we should request? We have a 4 year old. Thanks! *** 127 days until Christmas *** |

Re: Pop Century
We stayed in the 50's Building and it was great. The bowling pin pool was great for ds3. The pool never seemed that crowded. It was also pretty close the the main bldg. Hope you have a great time!

Re: Pop Century
When we stayed there we were in the 70's. If we stay there again, I think I am going to request the 50's.

Re: Pop Century
If you want to be close to the Main "hippy dippy" pool and the food court, then book the preferred, which is the 60's, We stayed there in 2006

Re: Pop Century
We have never stayed at Pop but have heard great things. If you google the resort, there are a few WDW websites that have tons of pictures and suggestions that you can include in your decision. As they said above, preferred is closest to what you want but other than that, you can only request an area and they will do their best to accomodate.
In the future, if you are looking for a different place to stay, All Star Movies is AWESOME if your little one loves the characters. They have Toy Story, Dalmations, Fantasia ect... My dd LOVED it when she was little. All of her favorites were there! Ok, Mom loved it too! Have fun! Zoey

Re: Pop Century
We also stayed in the 50's both times. Close enough to the Main Hall, the Bowling Pin Pool was nice, big and quieter then the Hippity Dippity. I enjoyed both my stays at Pop quite a bit, the service and staff were excellent, and it had a fun and happy atmosphere that all ages enjoy!

Re: Pop Century
We also have a 4yo; she was just shy of her 4th bday on our last trip last October, and I requested the 50's building for the Lady and the Tramp. She loved it!
We've stayed in the 80's building once and the 90's building twice. All the places we've stayed were great, but the 50's building was probably the best for our little one just for the Lady and the Tramp factor.

Re: Pop Century
We also enjoyed the 50's building and the bowling pin pool. I think you would enjoy any area, but closer to the main building is always a plus.

Re: Pop Century
We have also stayed in the 50's building and we liked it too! The bowling Pin pool was never crowded and it was pretty quite in that area for the most part.

We stayed there for our honeymoon and we loved staying in the 70's area. Next time we book there, I will look into the 80's and 90's areas

Re: Pop Century
60's is very loud at night especially if your room faces the pools... plus you can easily be awoken by the "cleaners" who maintain the areas around the pools at 7am. 50's is nice due to the calmer pool and 70's is great too because its halfway between the computer pool and the main building so you dont have to worry about people hanging out until midnight in front of your room, when the pools tend to close.
all the best! ;)

Re: Pop Century
I have stayed there many times and love the 60's area in a preferred location room. I have never had an issue with noise (given the fact that we're at the parks during the day) and I've stayed on the ground floor and third floor facing the main pool. I like this because it's very close to the main building.
