Has anyone stayed at the All Star Family Suites?

I am trying to decide whether I want to just book two adjoining rooms at the Pop or do a Family Suite.

We like the Pop BETTER and then we would have two bathrooms...

I'd still like to hear some reviews/opinions before I make my final decision.

Never stayed in one but had a look in one a couple of years age. It would depend on your needs and your point of two bathrooms is a good point. but in a suite you get the kitchen, some of you sleep in the lounge

here is a link for dis Disney Resorts - A Current list of Disney World Hotels, Disney Resorts, Orlando Hotels
I'm sure you have done your homework on the web.

You have two adjoining bathrooms at both choices. I personally try to stick with what I like. you will have 4 "real beds" with the adjoining rooms...the kid will be sleeping on pull out couches and chairs at the suites..not comfy.

I am trying to decide this too, but am leaning toward the two rooms because it is less expensive, and everyone gets a "real bed". I can already hear my girls fighting over who has to sleep on the chair/ottoman pull out thingy.

I've seen the value family suites from the outside when curtains are open. They have two bathrooms with one room being a living room and the other being a bedroom. I don't believe there is any sort of kitchen in the value family suites. The only rooms that have kitchens are DVC suites and studios. The living room has the pull out couch. If you want 4 beds, you need to book adjoining rooms, not the suite.

karliebug speaks the truth about it being less expensive to get two adjoining rooms, too.

It seems silly to pay extra and not everyone gets a real bed.

That pretty much makes my decision. We'd prefer the Pop anyway, I just wondered if there was a great reason to book the allstar suite instead.

THanks!!

I had the suite for our upcoming trip . . . but then the adjoining rooms were less so we switched. There is a small "kitchen" sink/fridge/micro area . . . but we always think we are going to eat in the room, eat our snacks we bring to the park and NEVER do!

Plus . . . it's true you have two pull out chairs and one pull out couch . . . so the "real" beds won me over too.

Yeah, I discussed it with Matt and he thinks it's silly to have the kids sleep on a pullout couch and chair if they could be in beds.

We can add a fridge to our room and still be paying a little less than if we just booked the suite.
