Early Nov. or early Dec.?

i know it's crazy...but we are already talking about our next trip...buying annual passes and making the most of them.

this our game plan since we are going in Dec. (35 days!!), using our 2008 SAP Seasonal annual passes:
there are some blackout dates..

~ skip renewing our passes for 2009.

~ buy new ones for a Jan. 2010 trip....using them again in 2010 in Nov. or Dec. (getting 2 trips out of them..7 days each =14 days)

~keep in mind POPWarner week is usually 2nd week in Dec., although some say it doesn't affect the parks..i am still leary.

~ also, how long do people usually stay over from Halloween?? if we arrived on Nov. 1st, would there be lots of Halloween stragglers!? lol

so here's my question:

when would you prefer to make a trip to wdw...early Nov. or early Dec.?

Re: Early Nov. or early Dec.?

Early December if I had to choose one or the other.
Reason: Christmas mode in all the parks.

Re: Early Nov. or early Dec.?

looks like early Dec. is the fave. so far.

with lower crowds being the the objective, the decorations are a great bonus.

since we are going this Dec. i will get to see for myself just how the crowd levels are.

KEEP VOTING!! i hope to get at least 25 votes in this poll, to give me a real good consensus of what people would rather!

thanks! :o)

Re: Early Nov. or early Dec.?

I've been fortunate to be at WDW 3 times in early December and it is, by far, my favorite time to be there: all decked out for Christmas, temperate weather, low crowds (although, it appears that it's busier these days... the secret is out!).

I guess early November would be good if you really wanted to avoid the crowds. I think that's become the slowest time of year.

Re: Early Nov. or early Dec.?

I prefer early December. We have been several times during the first week of December and have always had good luck with the crowds and the decorations are incredible. However, I'm a little nervous of some things I've been hearing and reading about regarding the crowds this year. What happened to the poor economy and people not traveling too much???!!!! I guess we will just have to see what our vacation holds for us. Anything is better than our last one which started the day after Christmas and was 8 days long. The crowds at Christmas and New Year's were rediculous - NEVER AGAIN. It was like Disney Woodstock . People were camped out all over the place and the parks stopped letting people in several days in a row after a certain time.

Hope to have a good vacation this time.

We always go the first week of December. We love it! There's no place like Disney at Christmas time.
