Polynesian theme park view rooms???

I just booked a theme park view room at Polynesian. I know absolutely nothing about this resort except how to spell it.

Are the theme park view rooms scattered among numerous buildings, or are there 1 or 2 buildings that have them all?

Can I expect my theme park room to have a balcony, or is a balocny rare?

Any other info/advice would be most appreciated!!!

THANKS!

There are rooms with a water view that allow you to see the MK..mostly the castle. They are the buildings near the beach...go to this link Polynesian Resort Fact Sheet you can find anything you can possibly want to know about the polynesian here.

Re: Polynesian theme park view rooms???

Thanks, Dana. Deb's site is one of my most-bookmarked sites, and I went there first before asking this question, but the Poly fact sheet doesn't answer these questions. Thanks, though.

Re: Polynesian theme park view rooms???

The Tahiti building is the only building with theme park views that has a patio or balcony on each floor. The other buildings (Hawaii--concierge, Tuvalu, Atearoa) do not have balconies on the 2nd floor. So basically you have a chance of getting a balcony, but then there is a possibility of not. You can request it when you check in, but it is never a guarantee.

Re: Polynesian theme park view rooms???

On our last trip we had a MK view and were in Tuvalu on the 1st floor. Love the Resort but wished we could have been up higher for the view but loved the fact we were on the ground floor for ease of access after a long day at the Parks.

Re: Polynesian theme park view rooms???

Keep in mind that lagoon view rooms can usually also see the castle and have great views of the lagoon without as much cost as the Magic Kingdom view rooms. Also for the cost of a MK view room you could stay Garden Concierge and be in a great location but still have a lounge to relax in and view the castle along with the music of the fireworks being piped in. For us with kids it is much better to be in the concierge building so we are next to the beach, pool and launch to the MK and very close to the GCH along with having access to drinks, snacks, etc for the kids without having to go back to the lobby.

Tahiti is your best location for the MK view with a balcony but it can be a few minute walk to get to other things around the resort, and as mentioned there is no guarantee you will be in that building or get a balcony. See what is available at check in.
