shipping packages home

:) Good Morning!
I will be staying at the Contemporary in June.
Which offers the option of shipping your packages home to you.
Has anyone used it here?
If so,how much do they charge,etc?

We have shipped a couple of things home over the years, mostly from shops around WDW. We purchased several things in the shops in China in EPCOT and had them shipped home rather than carry them around with us. It was nice, we bought the stuff, and didn't see it again until we got home. The delivery was quick enough, and the cost wasn't too bad, considering the options. It might have been a couple of dollars more than if we had taken the stuff directly to UPS or the post office, but not too much more.

The nicest thing about staying on property is that you can purchase stuff during the day in the parks, and they will deliver it to your room. It is great because we always say we will go back and get something, and then never do. Plus, it is free!

I had heard that, since9/11, they don't deliver packages to your room any more. I think they will deliver them either to the park entrance or to your hotel's front desk-I forget which. Has this policy gone back to the way it was before 9/11? If so, that would be excellent.:) :)

They don't deliver to the rooms anymore but they will send them to your hotel and its usually to the gift shop there, it also now takes to the next day to get them

Sorry, I failed to mention that it takes until the next day to get there, but no big deal. I didn't realize that they don't take them to your room anymore. When we were there in October, we didn't use the service, so I must have missed the change. Thanks!
