Ever see the Contemporary at Christmas?
It looks like many large apartment buildings with multiple strings of lights on all the floors.
A couple years back, there were several rooms at the Contemporary that had lights up in the beginning of December that still had them on New Year's Day.
I'd be willing to bet that some guests put the lights up at Thanksgiving and then left them behind (on purpose).
I've seen plenty of decorated balconies at AKL, WL, and Poly as well. I'm also sure that the DVC resorts have plenty of balcony decorations too.

When I was a little kid, I used to think the Contemporary was residential (well like rented/owned condos or something) because of this. Surely if you were decorating, it must be your own!

We have always done some decorating at OKW or SSR when we go during the holidays. We usually sting lights either on the balcony or in the room or both. Even if no one else sees them, when we return from a day at the park, it is nice to come in to the Christmas lights in our home. I have a Christmas wall hanging that I put on the door with Mickey magnets and get many comments. I love the idea of the mail center and will add that into my plans for this year. I am eager for someone to verify if the doors are wood or metal painted to look like wood at Kidani since that is where we will be staying this year. I also bring a collapsible Christmas tree. I know....a little extreme but I am better. I used to bring a 4 foot tree when we drove down!
If I went at some time other than the holidays, I think I would have to figure out something cool to decorate the door with.

Well I have decided to use the magnet tape to put up my decos and I will bring some of the putty stuff "just incase" the doors are NOT metal.

Unless someone else knows for sure about the doors, I will let everyone know what they are made of when I get back.

Do you have one of those purple boxes to store your decorations in, or do you pack it and take it with you every year? (If so, you might consider the Owners' Lockers - I hear they work great.)

Why would it only belong at the values? I think if someone wanted to decorate their door they should go for it no matter where where they stay at

To be honest for Madisons birthday trip I was thinking of getting a "ton" of glitter for pixie dust and sprinkling all around the room with her decorations.. I doubt if mousekeeping will like me then

That's what I wore for at least 2 days after the BBB for the DD , I wear mostly dark Big Dog T-shirts and the glitter really stood out ... I looked "Pretty"

Madison purchased some glitter from the mall a few months ago and had it on her bed. Well the dog got into it and ripped a hole in the bag all over her bed. My husband came home late one night from bowling and Madison fell asleep in my bed so he didnt want to move her so he slept in hers with the glitter and all. Well.... he didnt know about the glitter UNTILL the next day at work all the guys were calling him Tinkerbell He wears the pocket tees to work and Im pretty sure that day was dark blue
he couldnt get it off for days
