Where did you find this information? I thought only Disney resorts receive this benefit. I didn't find anyting about this on the Holiday Inn website or the DTD hotels website. I'm pretty sure even the Hilton doesn't have this service and they get EMH.

We took the deal as well and booked for Dec 2 thru the 10th. We're saving big dollars as well. We looked at the pros and cons and this is well worth it! Thanks Jen for the info!

Um, that is really good. I am thinking about a split ressie. A few days at the Holiday Inn, a few days somewhere on property.

We're going Dec 2 thru the 10th. At first we we're going to go alone, just Mark and I but I couldn't bear not having Shannon with us so it will be the three of us. I need to change my countdown description.

Shannon actually wanted to stay home and let Mark and I have an alone trip but she's 17 now and I know I won't have many vacations left with her. I want to make the most of the time I have with her before she's off to explore the world. If you change your dates, maybe we can get together (you, me and Ivanka-and the fam) and have dinner? You will love Disney at Christmas. Candlelight Processional, need I say more?

Thanks. I was using two different links and didn't get the same page you did. Isn't that bizarre? I'll be taking advantage of that!

You CAN get a Disney internal bus at DTD . I was only asked for a Disney ID one time in 53 trips and that was on one of the boats. BUT If you are not a Disney guest(resident) you are not entitled to ride the internal transportation. If a CM asks for you resident ID and you don't have one they can refuse to let you on bus, boat or monorail. Kind of like using the same old Disney mug over and over again on any trip and at any resort and, although your not supposed to, nobody ever says anything.

I got an email this week from Holiday Inn saying the hotel won't be ready in time for our reservation. However, they've made arrangements with the Hilton next door to honor the reservation at the same price. This works out even better for us. If we ultimately decide to go, the pageant is at the Hilton so DW still gets to be involved without walking next door and I get the $57 price. That's half price of the pageant deal the Hilton was offering.

I just checked their website and they've moved the reservation dates to January 15, 2010.
