Rooftop Lounge at BLT?

For those lucky people who have already been to BLT I have a couple questions. If I understand correctly, I can bring guests into the Rooftop Lounge as long as I am with them, right? Do you show your room key at the door?

How late does the lounge stay open?

That's a good question, Jen! My guess would be yes (it is WDW)... but perhaps I'll tell my kids "sorry, no kids" and enjoy some quiet time

Just came back from a 10 stay at BLT. It was wonderful! We went to the lounge numerous times while we where there. My experience was that they asked for 1 resort ID for our party which was a party of 6 and then escorted us to the elevator to go up. This is how it was done every time while we where there. The lounge is very nice and yes kids were up there!

They asked for BOTH my DVC membership card and room key. You may take guests, with occupancy limits but the crowds haven't been bad at all from what I've seen and heard.

Yes kids are allowed. Lounge is non smoking with drinks, munchies and deserts. Once fireworks were over kiddies and crowds thinned out to nothing. Great place for nitecap! Or two. Or three.

The regular operating hours for the lounge and deck are from 5:00 p.m.-midnight daily.
