Animal Kingdom Lodge "code" question!?

hello everybody, I just recieved a postcard like advertisement from disney about the animal kingdom lodge. It says i can save 110 dollars a night ( that makes it just 129 DOLLARS A NIGHT!) using code CEJ. It's valid 6/23/02- 8/24/02....however this was my question: What hotel room is this? it doesnt tell me in the fine print or anywhere. i bet it is a standard room....i was just hoping for a savannah room. Do u think if i called and reserved this that i could request a savannah room, or would that cost more money? I would LOVE to have a savannah room but cant afford it. By the way......is this similiar to those 100 dollar savings discounts disney is giving, u know $100 off for the deluxe, i think 80 or something for the moderate and 25 for the value?? thanx for any help. I might just book a room at the french quarter becuase Ive never stayed there and on expedia the rate is only 89 bucks a night!!! buit that might change if i can get a savannah room.....lol

I haven't heard of CEJ before, it must be brand new. Currently, there are codes CGK, CEP and CEW that are for the same time period. With those rates, the cost for a standard room at AKL is $139, or $205 with a savannah view. I would assume that this code is right in line with the others.

I figured out what it was mickey! I emailed Mary from mousesavers.com, and she said it is one of those postcards they send out to random people in there computer system. They have a pin code on it and it says non transferable, so that means only the ones with the actual postcard can use it. So i guess thats why u've never heard of it, cause its not open to the public. thanx for your help!

If you want to stay at AKL you could go ahead and book the room then ask for a free upgrade when you get there. You might not get it though so you would want to decide if you would rather stay at AKL with standard view or FQ. I've never stayed at the FQ so I can't say what it's like, but I will tell you AKL was SO unbelievable. We stayed in our room very little. I LOVED the view of the pool, but I would stay there even without the pool in a heartbeat. A lot of times depending on how late we stayed down at the pool, or just out exploring the hotel, when we would get back to our room for the night we would end up having to close the curtains anyhow, so that is something to also think about.

AKL really is a beautiful and amazing hotel though.
