Wake Up Calls

I know that I have seen that commercial with the little girl getting the wake up call from goofy, is that for real and if it is how do I get that done for my kiddies?? I am totally new to this and have been researching anything and everything I can get my hands on!you guys are so resourceful so I thought I would ask the experts!

TTFN & Thank you in advance!!

Mickey Wake up calls:

You set up a regular wake up call. In the morning, when the phone rings, put it on speaker phone(this is so everyone in your room can hear the wake up call) and say "hello". An automated Mickey will speak!!! There is no extra charge for this. (no goofy calls either)
We did this every day of our stay in June.

Goofy does the wake up call for birthdays. You just have to call the front desk to ask for it.

I was wondering about that same thing, Jacki!
Isn't it nice to know any WDW question can be answered here....better than any guidebook...real live help.

Not a wake-up call, but...

We were at the MK for my stepdaughter's birthday in '98. I was secretly buying her something at the Emporium on Main Street and mentioned to the cm it was for her b'day. The cm told me to have her pick up the phone and had a recorded birthday greeting from mickey. Made her day!:)

Do you call the front desk the night before to ask for the wake-up call? And is this available at all Disney resorts?
This would be the perfect way for us to wake up...we tend to grumble and turn off the alarm, despite the promise of a very Disney day. But if Mickey called us, I bet we'd be up and at 'em in five minutes!

there is a button on the phone in the resort room that says wake up :) you just push it and put in your time . I dont know but Dolphin and Swan because I know they are not actually "Disney Resorts" but all the others have it :)
