Room key charging???!

:D Did I read correctly that I could use my room key and CHARGE everything to my room!!:angel This could be dangerous:devil I assume you have to be staying on disney property though,
We are staying at the all-star sports my disney son is a great big sports freak! so I thought he would like that! ;) also I read that I can have my purchases delivered to my resort? (Now this is a vacation!) is there a charge for delivering? and last but not least can I do that at any park or just magic kingdom?

Thanks in advance!!

Jacki ;)

Hi, Yes you read it right you can charge anything you want on your room key, from food to souvenirs to anything you desire, provided you are staying at a disney resort that is. Yes again you can have any purchase that you make at any of the parks delivered to your resort free of charge. Have fun!! Be carefull with that room key it may look magic but you're going to have to pay for it in the end. :laugh :) :laugh

Yes, you heard correctly, your room key can also be used to charge while at WDW. Children cannot charge though and I don't know at what age they can be given charge options. Any store at WDW will send your packages to your resort free of charge. I did find that when we bought my DS a momorail at the stand in the lobby by Bayview Gifts at the CR that they would not send it to our resort.

Our DD was "charging" away when she was 12. But it was totally our option.

Thanks, I thought it was a parents choice but didn't know for sure if there was an age limit since my DS is only 5 we weren't offered the choice. I don't think 12 is too young to have that option. It can sure help to not have to hand cash out all the time.

On my last trip to CBR we were 5 (Me, my son, my MomA and my MOMB, my Ex) so we had 5 keys.
At check inn they ask...

:nervous Which card do I want charge privilege on?
 Do you want it to be charge to your credit Card at check out?
:devil Do want a limit on it?

So at the end of your trip, don't leave your card in the room like some people do. Keep it.

yes, this is great. we were at wdw last month, and i bought some dishes at epcot in japan. it was great to not have to carry them around the rest of the day. when i got home and unwrapped them, they were wrapped so good that i don't think any kind of bumpy ride woulda broken them. :)
