Room Sizes?

I have stayed at the Polynesian once, the Contemporary once and PO Riverside several times. I think I remember that the standard rooms at the CR and the Poly were a little larger than at POR. Is that correct? Also, would that mean that the rooms at the POR are larger than at the Allstar Resorts?

You are correct sir! With CBR having the largest rooms for a moderate (just slightly) but yet still slightly smaller thay Deluxe.

In general, the rooms at the deluxe resorts are bigger than the rooms in the moderate resorts, which in turn are bigger than the rooms at the value resorts.

So, to answer your question, "would that mean that the rooms at the POR are larger than at the Allstar Resorts?", the answer is yes.

The value resorts have 2 double beds. The moderates also have 2 double beds but a little more sq. footage than the value resorts. POR has some rooms with a child size pull out trundle bed that allows you to sleep 5. Most deluxe resorts have 2 queen beds and a daybed so sleeping 5 is no problem. AKL and WL do not have the daybed so they only sleep 4 but they also offer a queen and bunkbed combo. Also, AKL & WL rooms are smaller in sq. footage than the other deluxe resorts.

Room Sizes Are as Follows

The following is a list of the sq footage for the resorts

Poly 407

GF 403

YC 400

BC 400

Comp 394

BWI 395

AKL 344

WL 344

CB 314

POR 314

CSR 314

AS's 260

So it is true the footage goes up as you go from value to deluxe. These are based on standard rooms. But hey any room at disney is a good room.
Do you think we should post this on the post DisneyAnne made for tips about disney. It's not really a tip but I know its info I was interested in when I started booking our disney vacations.

I appreciate all of your replies. I agree with preidel24 that this should be posted in the tips for traveling.
