Okay, within one day my FTP WDW trip in September was cancled!

Our air conditioner decided to quit and my DH's work truck decided it didn't like it's braking system any longer...

Wheww.. I didn't know that you could spend the cost of a WDW trip times 2 in one day... OUCH:cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:


Anyone else out there ever have these blues?

ohhh my gosh I am sooo sorry!!! I kinda get those blues when I come bake from a trip!!! Sometimes regular life just gets in the way of our Disney lives!!!

So sorry to hear about your run of bad luck. I guess on the bright side you had the money to fix those problems... just stinks that it had to come from your WDW fund! I understand how awful you can feel when a trip is cancelled. Have faith and work on some new money saving tactics!

I didn't even realize my Senior Moueketer (sp) status. That's fun!:)

My DH and I concluded that we know we will be going back down there before the end of the year.. We are relocating to the Deland area sometime soon.. so we would at least hit one of the parks while we are down there...

Just won't be staying on Disney property..BUT.. I am starting to save my $$$ now so the nxt BIG WDW trip will be at the Wilderness Lodge..no if's ands or but's about it ;)

I so know how you feel and you definitely have my sympathies.

My company went under and thus my finances changed so I had to cancel the plans that my wife and I had planned for a trip in May 2003. We were going to be taking the kids for the first time and we had another couple who we had met on our first trip to Disney World were going to go with us, but they ended up having to go without us.

I know how depressing it can be. I just keep on planning for when we can finally make a trip. I just pushed the date out further hoping that by then the circumstances will have improved by then.

I hope you get the chance to go another time soon.

I am saddened by your news. We had to cancel our WDW trip last year because of money, but we went again within 6 months of cancellation. We used our tax refund!

Here's hoping you get some "unexpected" funds and can get to WDW in a hurry!

That is my hometown!!:) I now live in the Tampa Bay area, but most of my family is still in that area. You will only be about an hour or a little longer away from WDW! It's time to look into getting an AP or a Fl Resident Seasonal Pass. Now you can actually make short weekend trips there once you get settled into the area. The ap's help get a lower rate. Sorry to hear about the cancelled trip, as I am in the same situation myself. But be happy you are moving so close to WDW!!

Hey Goofygal that's great! We are actually moving down there on our own free will , not by job transfer and somehow we just found the Deland area to be soo nice and reminds us of our home here.. just without the snow :p .. I can't wait to get down there and buy up the AP ! My oldest daughter is a little worried about the move, but it helps being close to the ocean and to WDW.

I'm itching to get back down there SOON.. I was down there for 10 days in June and LOVED it!! Can't wait to go back.

I had no choice in the matter when we moved....i was only 2 years old. Haha. I've recently thought of moving there and living with my grandmother and finding a job there also. I like it because so much of my family is there!! You will enjoy it, i know it!! When do you plan to move there? If you need a good lawn service..I know a great guy...my cousin owns his own lawn service!!;) :D Oh, and TOMS's PIZZA is the best!! We love their pizza and steak subs!!! Yummy

Daytona Beach is so close to there too!! You are going to love it!!

I am sure we can all relate to your money woes at one time or another. Our trip in Oct. is going to be a celebration of our finally getting moved, my new job, and it being just the two of us!(actually, I would love to borrow some kids, this empty nest thing is killing me)
