Grand Floridian accomodations
I am considering taking my extended family (my wife and our 2 children, my brother and his 2 and my parents) to the Grand Floridian over New Years; (12/30 - 1/4). The travel agent has offered 3 Lodge Concierge rooms in (I think) the Sugarloaf Key building or a 2 BR Hospitality Suite at Conch Key.
Would anyone have an opinion on the merits of these two options? If it matters, the ages of the children are 13, 11, 7 and 1. |

I'm not sure where the 2nd option is -- is that in the main building? The Sugar Loaf building is right next to the main building. So you would have to walk there and then go to the second floor to get the monorail. The restaurants are in the main building too, but you would have snacks etc. in the coincerege Sugar Loaf. You should probably decide based on room assignments -- how the members of your party feel about sharing a room in the two different configuarations. You should be able to request connecting rooms in the Sugar Loaf building -- I don't know that they definitely have them there, but they have them at all of the other resorts.
