Just Back From 8 WDW Days!

My DD and I just returned last nite from our Fairytale Pkg. 8 day visit to WDW abd CBR! We are tired but ready 4 more! She was surprised about my upgrade from AS-S to CBR. As we sat in the car supposedly on the way to check in at AS-S, we sat at the stoplight outside the CBR entrance. I said, "One of these times, we'll have to try and stay at the Caribbean Beach. No. Not sometime. How bout this time?" I then showed her the Disney itinerary and she flipped! We did it all (except BB). We especially loved Mission: Space! It's our newest fave ride and is even "hosted" by my fave actor - Gary Sinise.
On a somewhat "down" note, however, we noticed cutbacks at all the parks. Fewer cast members manning attractions (only one at the Enchanted Tiki Room - she manned the front and then did the opening dialog outside and then went inside and finished). A couple times in the early evening, there was NO WAIT at the Haunted Mansion. For some reason, the longest wait we had was at the Test Trck at Epcot.
Anyway, we'll report in more detail later. Gotta unpack!

Welcome home I know some DCers had problems with the CBR as of late. Did you have any ?

Wow, we were there 8/2 - 8/9 and it was packed! I really couldn't tell there was a shortage of CM's. I do recall EPCOT being unusually slow on Monday of that week. But, even that said, Test Track fast passes were still sold out by 11am.

AK and MK were very busy indeed. As I recall, wait times for Peter Pan ran about 90 minutes, Splash Mountain about 90 Minutes, Haunted Mansion about 45, Dinosaur 75, and Safari 90.

Maybe we just picked the wrong days. How was the rain for you guys? It rained everyday for us from about 1pm until after dark. We watched Illuminations and Fantasmic and in the pouring rain. We didn't care though, it was still awesome.

We had absolutely no problems at the CBR and would definitely stay there again. We loved it.
As far as the rain - we had plenty the first three days, but not much later. We rescheduled our Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. from Sunday to Monday because of the rain.

we were nieghbors !!! we were in building 25 !! mmmm it wasnt your wife in the washroom with me waiting on someone to bring change was it? Cant wait to hear about your trip .. we had to have passed each other and never knew it .. I saw your note as I got in to drive away friday night .. I was so disappointed that we didnt get to meet !!
ilvminnie and I did meet up at the CP and here is a thread with the picture of us together !!
