Parking at another Resort?????
I was wondering if we could park at another resort for the day??
For Example: We want to eat at the Contemp. for breakfast then ride the monorail to MK for a good part of the day. Is that allowed if we are staying in another Disney resort?? Or will we get in trouble??

I think I read before that parking at other resorts are not allowed especially those around MK but parking at the parks is free for resort guests. I hope this helps.

Over the last couple of years, overnight guests at resorts in close proximity to the parks have been increasingly having trouble finding sufficient parking due to non-hotel guests using those lots as daily parking for the parks. Disney has put up signs at the entrances to those resorts advising that they cannot provide parking for the theme parks in the hotel lots. Non-hotel guests wishing to dine, shop, etc at those hotels are welcome to use the parking lots while they pursue those activities. The security guards are to issue a three-hour paking pass which should be more than sufficient time for the day guests.
If you are a WDW Resort Guest, you can catch the early morning breakfast shuttle from your resort. Then take the monorail to the MK after your breakfast. If you are an off-site guest, you should park in the Ticket & Transportation Center parking lot and take the resort monorail to the Contemporary for your breakfast. You can then take the monorail from the Contemporary to the MK to finish out your day. Are there ways to get around this? Yep, but that doesn't make it right. And it sure isn't fair to the overnight guest at that hotel when they have a hard time finding decent parking in their hotel lot. |

Even if you are staying at another Disney resort, you can not park at another resort for the whole day(unless maybe you get lucky). *Most* of the time, if you have a PS for a meal at a resort, you get a pass to put in your car window and they tell you that you can park there for three hours. THis has happened every time we have gone to the contemporary. Some say that this has never happened to them though.

I would just do the opposite of what you have suggested. I would go ahead and park in MK and get a great parking spot and then hop on the monorail over to have breakfast and then hop back on it to finish out my day at MK. And then when I'm ready to leave MK my car is right there. Or you could just walk as its a nice little stroll back and forth between the two.

Each resort runs early buses for the resort guests to get to breakfast ressies. Check at your resort's Guest Services to see what time the bus you need will pick up. They will drop you off right at the Contemporary if you tell them you are going to Chef Mickey's. I have heard they check to make sure you have a ps ressie, so it would be a good idea to have your ressie confirmation with you (check-in can print all these for you).

Is this the same thing? Parking at Boardwalk and going to Epcot and then going back to Boardwalk to eat at night?

On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend this year,I had PS's at Cape May Cafe for 8:20pm. I went to the Beach Club at about 2:30 and told the guard at the gate I was meeting friends at Beaches and Cream. He gave me a 3-hour pass. I then went to valet parking and had them park my car. Since I dined at Cape May and had the Disney's Dining Experience card,I got FREE valet parking!! Was it worth the dollar tip to the valet guy to not have to park at Epcot, walk all through Future World, and to the back of World Showcase where I wanted to be that day,and then be able to drive back to my hotel without walking all that way after eating? Heck yes!!!!!!!
