We are staying at POR in September. We have to stay in the rooms that house 5 people!! AND we want to have rooms close to Disneymom's family.... So My question is:

We booked standard rooms, are there upgrades we can request? And If so what are the rooms we would request??

We have already requested BLDG. 14 is that a good enough choice or is there a better option?

OK, I am going under the assumption that you booked a standard view room with a trundle bed, since you have 5 in your party. The only upgrade would be to a water view room. The room with be identical, you will just have a view of a pool or the river from your room. Really not much of an upgrade. Building 14 is great, there are even some water view rooms there, so you might get upgraded. You might want to consider Buiding 18 as well, since it is right next door, but is almost all water view.

Thanks Mickey, that is kinda what I figured!!! We requested bldg. 14 or 18. Should we call again or fax something with that request before we leave??

You can either call or fax the resort a couple of days before you arrive. The fax number to POR is 407-934-5777.

We were going to stay at PORR for our trip in Oct. While under the assumption that we were, we faxed a room request that was written to the jingle Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah!
We did this thinking that if we didn't get the room request, at least we entertained the Room Assignor!
