Breakfast Suggestions Before EPCOT

Can anyone suggest any places where we can go to breakfast before going to EPCOT? Was thinking about the Yacht and Beach Club or the Boardwalk (or anywhere else within the area of the park). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!:D

Breakfast

Hi!

There is a great character breakfast called "Goofy's Beach Blast" at the Beach Club Resort which, as you know, is only a boat ride or walk away from Epcot. You can check out the menu here:

Hope that helps!

Wendy

This place sounds great! Just printed the menu out to put in my Disney "file". Thanks Wendy!

I usually suggest the Kona Cafe in the Poly. Just hop on the monorail, and you are at EPCOT. Of course, if you are staying in the EPCOT area, it might be tough to get there before park opening.

The Yacht Club Galley serves up a great breakfast buffet! One of the best on property IMHO.

The Boardwalk supposedly has a terrific bakery. It was showcased on the Food Network's Unwrapped show, during their WDW Special.
The pastries looked like they were incredible!

Well now I am hungry!:angel

My biggest suggestion is to eat breakfast anywhere but at the park! We made the mistake of skipping breakfast (Which had been averaging about 6 bucks total for me and my dad --we didn't eat very much as you can tell- a bagel or two and some shared scrambled eggs from the All Star Cafe didn't come out to much) -- the day we went to Epcot, so I figured,'Hey, whatever, I'll pick up something for us at the park.'
'Something at the park' (Two coffees a croissant and a sandwich) came out to about 17 dollars- 10 dollars more than what we'd been averaging with a bigger meal at the AS Cafe. Sure, not a biggie, but since we'd been having skimpy breakfasts all along, for a little more than what we paid at the park, we probably could have had a nice sit down breakfast somewhere else.

I totally agree with this suggestion. Our Disney Family did this on Mother's Day, and it was really great. After breakfast walked on over to EPCOT!!! It was one of my best "Mother's Day " ever!!! JOANN:)

What about the Princess Breakfast at Norway??? It's really nice. DH & I went to the breakfast without any of our kids. They all got a kick out of that , since our youngest is 25years old. The point is, we had a wonderful time, and isn't that what Disney is all about???!!!! JOANN:)

Before my family ventured to Epcot we had breakfast at the Poly in Ohana's. I can honestly say (please bare in mind that we are from the Uk) it was the best breakfast I have ever had. The food was plentiful, the staff were wonderfull and there were pleanty of games and the like for the kids.

The characters were entertaining and the best thing of all is once your done it's back onto the monorail, a quick change at the Ticket Transportation and off for a splendid day out in Epcot.

Magnifique !!

If you have the time for a nice relaxed breakfast, over at the Boardwalk there is a buffet at, I believe, Spoodles. Our family really enjoyed doing it while we were there last year, wish we had found it earlier!

Enjoy,
-harry

That is a great question! Two of my favorite breakfasts on property are Spoodles and the Cape May Cafe!

If you are looking for characters, a fun atmosphere and an excellent all-you-can eat buffet...choose the Cape May Cafe. It is never too crowded and the food is always fresh. They have a terrific selection of fresh fruit and pastries, plus traditional breakfast fare. Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale circle the dining room for pictures and autographs.

If you are looking for a quiet meal in a beautiful setting, pick Spoodles. The food and service are excellent. You will be seated at a table with a view of the open kitchen. The food (and the dining room)has a mediterranean touch.

No matter where you choose to eat, make sure that you will be finished before Epcot opens. The International Gateway will open at 9 o'clock and you will be treated to a lovely stroll through World Showcase, alone. You will have great picture taking opportunities in the UK and Canada. Happy planning!

Ohhh, did some say pictures at the Canada Pavillion. I love shooting at all of the World Showcase, but Canada is my favorite.

What a beautiful picture Harry. The colors are so bright and the image is so sharp, I love it.
